Webster Bank wanted to fence off a city lot for employee parking. The boundary survey involved extensive land record research, including old streetline mapping from the city engineering office and resolving an access easement issue for an abutter. The easement had persisted in the abutting deed but had ceased to exist in our clients.
A thorough review of the Grantor Index in the land records provided the deed in which the easement had been released. This photo shows the original site.
